ADOT now mails all IDs and vehicle documents, so you’ll get a temporary one to use until your official one arrives within 7-14 business days. Not all places accept temporary credentials, so plan ahead!
Pro-tip: Make sure your address up current with USPS® before requesting new ADOT credentials. If you live in a community with cluster mailboxes, put your name inside your mailbox to avoid delays. Mail from ADOT does not get forwarded.
