Duplicate Registration

Need a Duplicate or Replacement of Your Registration? We can help!

Has your vehicle registration been lost or destroyed? Time to get a new one!

A vehicle registration is proof that an owner has paid the necessary fees to legally drive their car, and that the vehicle is recorded with the state. A duplicate registration is essentially a replacement for the most current vehicle registration. Yes, sometimes that piece of paper ends up elsewhere outside the glovebox!

Reasons You May Need a Replacement or Duplicate Registration:

There are various situations where getting a duplicate registration becomes necessary.

  • Lost Registration: We get it, sometimes it’s just not where you thought it might be. Getting a duplicate registration might be the simplest way to save yourself the time and frustration.
  • Damaged Registration: If your vehicle registration has been ripped or damaged beyond repair it is important to replace it so everything is legible and compliant.
  • Stolen: In the unfortunate event that your registration was stolen it must be replaced by obtaining a duplicate registration.

Whether you’ve misplaced your original registration or it has become illegible due to wear and tear, we can process a replacement for you at our office. You’ll receive a temporary credential on the same day, valid for immediate use until the official hard copy arrives in the mail.
